Samsung SGH-E250 & SGH-E251
The Samsung SGH-E250 is very popular model, because of it’s design, like of Samsung SGH-D900 and Samsung SGH-D900i. It’s slider, pretty simple lies in a hand and all buttons placed very handful. This cell phone have a pretty good functionality for it’s price (about $200-$250) - very good TFT display (128×160 resolution, with 65k colors), VGA camera, microSD memory card slot, MP3-player and support of MP3 ringtones, FM-radio. But this mobile phone made in 2006, and needs to be renewed. The Samsung closely thought about it and… Welcome, a new cell phone!
The Samsung added 1 to number of model and released new Samsung SGH-E251. A little changes in design, front pannel buttons is the same, but function buttons now a little lower. Also, Samsung added “extra button” - in Samsung SGH-E250 pressing navigation key DOWN in stand-by mode means turn on the camera. Here, in the mobile phone Samsung SGH-E251 also navigation button UP have it’s own function - it turns on the musical player. Well, that’s all difference between this two cell phones. Now here’s all the functions of both of them:
Display - TFT, 128×160 resolution, upto 65k colors.
Camera - VGA (0.3 Mpx)
Memory card - microSD slot (upto 1Gb in SGH-E250 and upto 2Gb in SGH-E251)
Additional - MMS, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 (SGH-E251 supports A2DP - stereo BT headset), FM (SGH-E251 supports RDS), Java, MP3-support (such as player as ringtone).

Well, SGH-E250 is very popular model because of his similarity to SGH-D900 and SGH-D900i. You can see photo of this model (first photo on the post). It’s price is about $150-$200 at the most retailers. Thanks for reading

Hello, Seema. I think this phone haven’t theme support and increasing the sound can be done only if you open case of this phone, put out the speaker, and put in another, louder speaker.

Hi Alex And others,I think U r wrong,thr is indeed a way to increase the volume of this set without opening or fumbling with any of the electronics unnecessarily,instead as every machine goes through production line in the factory,it is run through various types of tests using various tests modes,which are generally locked for the user but using secret codes we could access them and fo many things to our wish!SO here is the procedure to Increase Volume on Samsung E250——-
try the trick..
1.type the code *#8999*8378# as u wuld do to make a call..
2.go to 2nd option h\w test in the menu shown…
3.enter audio settings in it
4.Go to iis normal 2(13th option) for music volume n iis normal(simply)(10th option) for phone volume..
5.in it go to rx volume
6.then increase the number for each volume level(from1 to 14)..u can set the 14th upto 30000..but 7500 or 6000 wuld do gud for listening to songs..
7.it can be done for phone volume also…
Some SGH-E250 phones (like mine) don’t accept the code *#8999*8378#. If that is the case then try the code *#0206*8378#. After that follow the above
instructions. Most other *#8999*… codes work as *#0206*…. codes on these phones.

Hey guys and gals….I was not following this blog for a long time, bcoz by know I myself dont know how many phones I have changed,now I own a blackberry 8250…Well but to my knowledge, There is no way U can install ur own themes on Samsung E250.Neither You can view videos in full screen….And well answer to ur questions, these features cannot be tweaked in any way as for now guys…So sorry for dissapointing u, but this is an old phone….samsung no even supports it…So my word, plz buy a new phone…many cheap phones are in market at the same cost….I sold it long ago for 2600 bucks…:)

How do you reset the settings on a samsung E250i, for the loud speaker thing? I change mine and it does not want go softer and it stays loud, after i put the code on.

i entered the code #*7337# and now my phone does not respond to any network chip. When i dial a number to make a call, it says no network and the imei has been turned to zeros. What must i do?
