Samsung Intercept SPH-M910

Samsung Intercept is one o new pretty Samsung mobile phones. It’s now presented in Sprint network. First of all, this is one of first Android phones with QWERTY-keyboard on board.

Samsung is one of the pioneers in an Android phones market. Now they have their own UI named TouchWiz. It’s great addition to simple Android interface, it’s making many things easier to access and much more.

Of course, Samsung Intercept also have this interface. With full abilities of Android 2.1, TouchWiz and pretty big screen (3.2″) Samsung Intercept making wow-effect. And, one of the sicknesses of any sensor phone - keyboard - is fully cured, thanks to sliding QWERTY keyboard with really big and comfortable keys.

Also, Samsung Intercept have a plenty of pre-installed apps on board, such as social (Twitter, Facebook, IM+), entertainment (YouTube, games), business (corporate e-mail, schedules), navigation (Google Maps) and more and more.

Software side of this phone is really great, but what’s with the hardware? Let’s have a look:

- High-end processor (800 MHz), which means high-quality videos, fast response of touchscreen, fast apps run and many more;
- 8 Gb of internal memory (which means a lot of available to download and install apps from Android Market without a thought of memory) plus MicroSD card slot (up to 32 Gb). That’s pretty lot.
- 3.2 Mpx camera (nothing to say, usual camera)
- 3.26″ WQVGA display (240×400). You can browse internet, read emails or text SMS without any troubles with free space on display.

Well, Samsung Intercept, I can say, is a nice device for all - and especially those who have a lot of talking and texting.

Samsung U600 is a final of Samsung Ultra I series. It have everything have all of Ultra I phones and even more. It have extra slim design and slider form. Well, let’s see at them.
First thing you can feel in this device is, of course, it’s slimness. Oh yes, Samsung U600 is really fits in the Ultra series of Samsung cell phones! It have slim camera, slim keyboard, slim display - slim everything! And this is strange, but it is not so bad - Samsung really can make the slim things very comfortable.
The slider is soft - it haven’t creaky noises or jamming when you pushing it out.
Display is very good - 262k of colors is looking really great. But this display have a disease of every Samsung Ultra phones - in the sunlight you can’t see the thing.

And the main functions is:
Display - 2.2″, 262k colors, 240×320 resolution.
Camera - 3.2 Mpx, with video recording
Memory - about 60 Mb internal + MicroSD slot
Additional: FM-radio, MP3-player, sensor buttons (only “Green” and “Red” buttons, and also right & left functional buttons), Java, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0

Finally, I can say that Samsung Ultra SGH-U600 is a great choice for design lovers - because in this cell phone design is friend to a comfort.

Samsung announced new cell phone SGH-I900 with a given name Omnia. So, what interesting this device have? Oh, I’ll give you an answer. First of all, this is first Samsung cell phone with Windows Mobile OS. Second, it have a “widgets”. Third, it have compact and stylish design with metal case. Fourth, it have a built-in 5 Mpx camera with image stabilizer. Well, now let’s look further.

First, about design. The Samsung SGH-I900 Omnia fits in my hand like I was born with it. This metal case, this big touch screen, this buttons really makes me feel good. This cell phone have so slim design - it’s just 12.5 mm thin! Widgets. This is a revolution. This is a first time I can see what I want on the screen - I make a decison how main screen will look like - like a big multi-functional watch, like an organizer (diary), or like my music collection. It’s all about the owner opinion. You can see two same phones and they won’t be the same!

Next I want to say about camera. 5 Mpx is a ordinary camera for now. But where you can see built-in camera with touch focus? Touch focus means you can make your camera focus on any object in the scene of shot - just touch the screen in the area you want to focus in (face, building, tree etc.) - and phone camera will focus on it. I can’t remember cell phone with camera with function like this. And, yes, photos is great and can be printed on 10×15 sheet without any troubles. And now, like a “tradition”, some functions of SGH-I900 Omnia:

Yes, Samsung SGH-I900 Omnia can be a good competitor to you-know-what-device (of course, Apple iPhone 3G ). And with such price - Omnia really can win.

Greets to you from Ultra series of Samsung! This is ultra new cell phone by Samsung - SGH-U900. This phone is called “U900 Soul”. So, why “Soul”? It’s simple - this cell phone was made to make you feel the difference between it and other mobile phones. And ”SOUL” means “The Spirit Of ULtra”, what means this cell phone is main in Samsung Ultra series. And also it have unique touch panel under main display - it’s also display, but with sensor functions. Look at photos and you’ll understand.

And that’s so great. That’s enough just small touching for it to work. When I use it, it’s never work bad or wrong. Just all Samsung Ultra series cell phones, SGH-U900 Soul also have couple of non-standart functions. For example:
“Vivid Message” - that function makes your SMS alive! It have a dictionary within with a pictures to words… It’s difficult to explain but perfect to understand (for example, if I’ll write “I love you”, in a background heart will appear).
“Living World” - this is pretty standart, but so attractive. In a waiting mode, on a background there’s a picture of main place in your country - in US it’s Statue of Liberty, in UK it’s Big Ben, in Paris it’s Eiffel’s Tower. When the day - it showing sunlight, in the night - there’s a shining stars. When you get a message - there’s plane flying around. When you get a missing call - there’s a clouds. It’s simple, but so usefull and pretty!

Samsung SGH-F480 cell phone is sequel to SGH-P520 Armani. It have very similarly design and also same OS (Croix OS). It have sensor touch display with only three functional buttons under display (call, deny and center button - which is usually OK). The interesting thing about this phone is feedback - every press on the touch-screen make the cell phone vibrate, this is very good and useful - everytime you know, did you press or not. Also this model is a third-generation cell phone, which means very very fast Internet, good connection everywhere and video-call. In this phone we can see a 5-Mpx camera with a built-in LED flash, and also FM-radio with RDS support.

On a back panel of this cell phone we can see camera with flash and leather back cover, which are very useful - the phone is pretty good lying in a hand and have a good-touchable surface. New cell phone Samsung SGH-E210 is very stylish model with lots of functions with very democratic price. This model is a clamshell mobile phone. It have a camera (on a front panel) and very bright outside display, made with OLED technology - which means that you can see what displays in it even under very shining sun.

Inside we can see keyboard (pseudo-sensor), and good TFT display with 65k colors. This cell phone easily lies in a hand… and easy to speak with it in a hand. Front panel covered with a lacquer, and back panel is covered with “softtouch” material, which make the phone non-sliding in even wet hands. Inside keys is very big, that’s why I can press in with my eyes closed so easily. On a left and right sides of phone we can see two buttons - volume up&down and, of course, two slots - for memory card and for charger. This is functions of this great mobile phone:

Well, as we can see, the Samsung SGH-E210 is very interesting model for all humans :).

The Samsung SGH-E250 is very popular model, because of it’s design, like of Samsung SGH-D900 and Samsung SGH-D900i. It’s slider, pretty simple lies in a hand and all buttons placed very handful. This cell phone have a pretty good functionality for it’s price (about $200-$250) - very good TFT display (128×160 resolution, with 65k colors), VGA camera, microSD memory card slot, MP3-player and support of MP3 ringtones, FM-radio. But this mobile phone made in 2006, and needs to be renewed. The Samsung closely thought about it and… Welcome, a new cell phone!

The Samsung added 1 to number of model and released new Samsung SGH-E251. A little changes in design, front pannel buttons is the same, but function buttons now a little lower. The next cell phone is also in Samsung LaFleur serie - Samsung SGH-L310. It’s black-gold colors is very harmonious. This mobile phone easy lying in hand and easily opens. Inside them we can see internal screen and keyboard. This cell phone, as inside as outside looks rich. With a rich design, it have also good functionality. All funcions you want from modern modile phone - it have. Camera, which is very organic looks, bluetooth with stereo-mode (A2DP), mobile Intenet with faster EDGE… Oh, what am I talking about, this is them:

Internal display - TFT, 65k colors, 176×220 resolution.
Camera - 2 Mpx
Memory card - microSD slot upto 2 Gb.
Additional features: MMS, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth with A2DP, 3.5mm-jack audio outlet, MP3-player, Java support.

The Samsung SGH-L310 will be good choice to ladies who want from mobile phone rich design and good functionality.

Samsung SGH-L320 is a very new cell phone from Samsung. This mobile phone is from Samsung LaFleur serie. It have a rounded shapes, beautiful tracery in a front and back external pannels. It have a easy-to-use shape, which helps user to open phone easily. With all of this - good design, handful shape, this mobile phone also have a good features. Just look:

Internal display - TFT, 1.9”, 65k colors, 176×220 resolution
External display - OLED, 4 gray shades, 176×16 resolution
Camera - 2 Mpx
Memory card - microSD slot, upto 2Gb

Well, Samsung SGH-L320 is a good cell phone for all who prefer pretty design.

Finally, it’s released. Samsung SGH-P520 Armani. It’s Samsung’s answer to Apple iPhone and LG KG850 Prada. It just haven’t keyboard, just sensor display and two buttons - accept and decline call. Display made by technology of LG and Apple - it’s not sensor film, it’s a net of laser lines which detect placing of finger and its moving. That technology is much more safe, display of mobile phone is harder to damage. And, also, that makes the cell phone thicker. Its thickness is just 8.9 mm - it’s a very good for a mobile phone with sensor control.

Of course, like all Samsung cell phones P series, the Samsung SGH-P520 Armani have in box leather case for mobile phone. It protects the Armani from scratches or something on a case. The phone within this leather case looks like note-book or diary. Ok, now let’s look at features of this great thing:

After all this, I must say that Samsung SGH-P520 is loud answer to LG and Apple. Small device with only sensor control and great couple of things will be good competitor to all other same devices of other firms. Samsung has said its word. What after?..
